North Carolina Renewable Energy Tax Credit (Personal)

The heating of water for home use is one of the highest consumers of energy for most families.  As utility companies advise the public that increased energy costs are inevitable, now may be a good time to invest in solar thermal applications for water heating.  North Carolina provides for a 35% tax incentive that can be coupled with the 30% federal tax incentive.  Out of pocket costs are 35 cents on the dollar spent.  Refer to the following link for detailed information.
